Parenting has always been a challenge for everyone. Giving what's best for their children as well as having quality time with them is a big challenge most especially if the parents are working. Some are torn between their full time jobs to support the needs of their children or try part-time jobs to still spend time with their kids. In my case, me and my husband have no choice but to work full time to provide for our son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We discovered his condition when he was still 1 year and 6 months old. He started uttering words when he was still 1 year old but it suddenly started disappearing. He was back to blabbering, throwing things and having uncontrollable tantrums and also walking on tiptoes. It made us worried that we consulted a Developmental Pedia at our town and found out about his condition. I read a lot of articles online about parenting and autistic children so that I can understand him better and help him. He has been under therapy and socialization with his fellow toddlers for more than 1 year now. It only stopped when the Covid-19 outbreak was announced and Community Quarantine was implemented last March 15.

It has always been our goal to give our son all the support we can so that he can love a life normally. We want to spend our free time with him although it is very limited due to our work schedules. I am so happy to come over the FVA Academy on time when I was browsing on facebook.
